Welcome to Sutton Spring Art & Spa Retreats, where we're passionate about art and the artists who create it. We've filled this space with our own creations and those of others who share our love for bringing new perspectives and language to life. We hope you feel inspired by the atmosphere we've cultivated and that you'll continue to be a part of our journey.

Dave Dando As the wood and metal sculptor and co-owner, Dave is a self-taught artist whose work is deeply rooted in childhood fascination. He started with wood carving and was later inspired by pepakura, a form of papercraft that uses mathematical equations to create perfect shapes and proportions. He studied this technique and translated it into his three-dimensional sculpting.
Dave gravitated toward metalwork, feeling it was the ideal way to express this fascination and offer a unique commentary on it. |

Meet Louise English, a photographer based in Daylesford who brings a unique perspective to her work. Every day, she walks the town's backstreets and bush tracks, searching for new moments to share on her Instagram, @apicturesworth. Her background in archaeology and cultural heritage allows her to see and capture the stories woven into the landscape, which is reflected in the style and composition of her photos.
The changing seasons of the Central Highlands are also a deep source of inspiration. Louise frequently returns to the same spots to document the ever-shifting light and textures of the land and sky. A graduate of the Sydney Institute of Technology (now the National Art School), her photographs are available for purchase. Bethany Pardoe
Is a young, emerging artist who has exhibited work in numerous exhibitions. Pardoe has completed three solo mural projects and two collaborative murals for the NDYC. She has exhibited her art at the Nelson Municipal Library, the Capitol Theatre, Dominion Cafe, the Library of Sustainable Fashion, Oso Negro Cafe and Kootenay Bakery in Nelson BC. She can be reached through Instagram @bethanypardoeart. Miriam Porter-wood sculptor
Miriam is a local Daylesford wildlife sculptor and woodcarver. Her work is widely held in private collections and as public commissions. One of her giant wombats graces the Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens in Daylesford and another decorates the entrance to the Daylesford Police Station. Miriam is known for her work providing public art sculptures for various children's playgrounds. Meet Andrew Aitken, a photographer whose professional background in renewable energy and sustainability has shaped his passion for landscape photography. His style is distinct and minimalist, often capturing the beauty of places others might overlook—from desolate wildernesses to urban wastelands. Andrew’s images possess a raw, visceral quality that arrests the senses and invites viewers to find beauty and meaning beyond traditional viewpoints.
